In the middle of a pandemic, when the future felt uncertain and businesses everywhere were struggling, Lesli Burt decided to open a spa. It was a leap of faith and an all-or-nothing moment. She didn’t know exactly what lay ahead, but she knew she believed in herself, in her family’s talents, and in their ability to build something together.
Before Spa Del Rio, Lesli worked in sales and marketing. She brought that experience into her new venture, but this time, she wasn’t just building a business. She was building a life alongside her mother and sisters. Family has always been at the center of who she is, and working with them has made the journey all the more meaningful.
A licensed massage therapist and esthetician, Lesli’s curiosity and dedication to her craft have taken her beyond Laguna Beach, including to Copenhagen, where she participated in a World Massage Competition. Back home, she has poured that same dedication into creating a spa where guests feel welcome, respected, and cared for.
Today, that leap of faith has grown into Spa Del Rio, a family-operated boutique spa in the heart of downtown Laguna Beach.
