About the Business

Kali Jaye LLC provides consulting and speaking for women who want to be taken seriously at work, in business, and in the rooms where decisions get made. My clients are capable and kind, and they’re often tired of carrying more than their share or putting off the conversation they know they need to have.

I spent 17 years at one company, 12 of them in leadership, where I led teams, trained managers, and guided people through hard conversations. Together with my coach training and counseling degree, that shaped a practical approach: how to prepare, how to open the conversation, how to stick to facts and your own experience, and how to speak strategically yet naturally. The work is tactical, direct, and a little irreverent. I work with individuals and speak to business groups and organizations.

Kali Jaye, MA, ACC
Founder and Principal Consultant

Kali Jaye, MA, ACC, is the founder of Kali Jaye LLC, where she helps women get taken seriously through consulting and speaking. She started out as a counselor, then took a hard left into publishing, where she spent 17 years at one company, 12 of them in leadership, leading teams, training managers, and guiding people through hard conversations. Off the clock, she has hugged exactly three palm trees and can quote the movie My Cousin Vinny on request.

Kali works with women, one-on-one and in groups, on the conversations they’ve been putting off: how to prepare for them, how to say the thing plainly, and how to be heard in rooms where decisions get made. She writes about burnout too, including a piece for the Society for Scholarly Publishing. Since moving to Laguna Beach in 2023, she’s found her people at the Laguna Beach Business Club, where she joined for the breakfast conversations, the wonderfully varied mix of local businesses, and the chance to build her business alongside her neighbors. Ask her about leadership, communication, or culture and she’ll happily keep talking, and she’d love to speak at a future meeting.
